Premature Ejaculation Treatment
Do you want to last longer in bed?
At Choice Men’s Health in Atlanta, we understand the frustration of dealing with a medical issue like Premature Ejaculation (PE). It is a common condition that 1 in 3 men may face at some point in their life.
Our certified medical professionals have the knowledge and experience to help men dealing with this health issue. We can design a custom treatment plan to help men improve their sexual health and increase their confidence with their sexual partner.
What Is Premature Ejaculation?
PE occurs when the act of discharging semen happens sooner than a man would like during stimulation or sexual intercourse. For many men, this can be a frustrating occurrence. At Choice Men’s Health, we understand this and how it can make sex less enjoyable for both parties.
PE can often lead to a decrease in sexual pleasure and have a negative impact on the sex life of a man and his partner. Men who have experienced premature ejaculation will sometimes try and avoid or limit their sexual encounters.
If PE happens infrequently, it may not be a cause of concern, but you should speak to a health care professional to make sure there are no underlying health conditions that are causing it.
Let’s look at some of the symptoms associated with this condition.
What Are The Symptoms Of PE?
The primary symptom of premature ejaculation is the inability to delay ejaculation shortly after sexual intercourse.
Other common symptoms of PE include:
-Ejaculating within a few minutes of sexual stimulation and/or sexual penetration.
-Unable to delay the act of ejaculating.
There are two types of PE that men may experience.
Primary premature ejaculation is when PE happens all the time, typically starting with a man’s first few sexual encounters.
Secondary premature ejaculation, also known as acquired premature ejaculation, is when the condition has recently started.
Both of these can negatively impact a man’s sexual performance. Often men are embarrassed and won’t talk to their partners or a health care provider, which can lead to relationship issues.
